Structure and Working Principle


The horizontal multi-stage fire pump is a centrifugal pump that connects the inlet and outlet sections with the middle section through pull rods. The impeller is one of its core components. The pump shaft rotates under the drive of an electric motor, causing the impeller to rotate as well, thereby transferring energy to the liquid.

Taking the XBD-W horizontal multi-stage high-pressure fire pump as an example, the liquid is continuously delivered from the suction pool through the pump's inlet section, forward impeller, forward guide vane, middle section, horizontal outlet of the outlet section, transition pipe, secondary inlet section, reverse impeller, reverse guide vane, and vertical outlet of the outlet section.

 

Impeller Type:
The impeller materials are diverse, commonly including stainless steel. For example, the stainless steel impeller fire pump uses stainless steel stamping to form the impeller, pump casing, and main internal components. The flow channel is particularly smooth.
